In late 2010, Uwe Sommerhoff had his yellow 1974 Holden Torana shipped from Melbourne to Nürburgring Germany to begin a transformation into an Australian Group C Touring Car by Boemanns Motorsport. Owned by Uwe's close friends Holger & Edda Boemanns, many professional race teams take their cars to Boemanns for dynotesting and upgrades with the workshop minutes from the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife track.
