Say we have a =single= rotor rotary. How many firings are there per 1 turn of the "crank"?

The internal gear of the rotor is way bigger than the mainshaft gear that it engages with, so one complete revolution of the mainshaft is never going to run all three faces of the rotor past a spark plug. If I knew the size of those two gears (number of teeth) that would answer my question.

Okay - it seems that one full turn of the shaft is needed to move a rotor from one face to the next.
